Financial Aid

Thank you for your interest in Columbia Academy. Partial tuition assistance is available on the basis of demonstrated need for students in Kindergarten - 12th grade. If you believe that your resources are not sufficient to meet the total costs of a Columbia Academy education, you are encouraged to apply.  

We have contracted with TADS (Tuition Aid Data Services) to process our financial aid applications. TADS provides a framework through which household need can be measured fairly and equitably. Recommendations from TADS are used by our Financial Aid Committee to determine the award amount. Click here for the Financial Aid Checklist to assist you in the application process.

Application Information

As part of the TADS green initiative, we are requesting that all of our families submit financial aid applications online - CLICK HERE. You will find that the online application is very user friendly and the cost is significantly less than in years past. You only have to complete one Financial Aid application, even if you have several children applying. The $34 processing fee is made payable to TADS. 

Supporting Documentation

The following supporting documentation must be submitted to TADS via mail, fax or uploaded online prior to the application due date:

•    Household members’ most recently completed IRS Form 1040 (first two pages only)
•    W-2’s from each job held by household members

New Students

Prior to applying for financial aid, the school application must be submitted with the $75 application fee (click here to learn more about the Application Process and to begin an application). PLEASE BE ADVISED that based on our Financial Aid deadlines, you may not be able to know any final award amount until some time AFTER you have submitted enollment documentation by the required Admissions Process deadlines. Financial aid applicants who submit all required documentation no later than April 13 will be notified by May 18. Applicants who submit all required documentation after April 13th will be notified within four weeks of their submission.  

All families that wish to receive tuition assistance are expected to enroll in the 12 month payment plan if you enroll by June 30.

Returning Students

Prior to applying for financial aid, the re-enrollment contract must be submitted with the $100 enrollment fee.  

Financial aid applicants who submit all required documentation no later than April 13 will be notified by May 18. Financial Aid awards will be reduced for late applications.

All families that wish to receive tuition assistance are expected to enroll in the 12 month payment plan.
